About Us
Our History
The Giving Tree of Paradise Valley was established in 2012 by Maaike Middleton and Kelly Meadows. Maaike and Kelly recognized there were children and families in their area that could benefit from some support at the holidays. Maaike developed relationships with the local schools to help identify those children and families that could receive anonymous donations from generous sponsors. Caregivers are offered assistance and complete a brief questionnaire about the child: sizes, favorite colors, things they need, things they want, and interests they have. Sponsors take that information and buy gifts tailored to each child. In 2022, The Giving Tree exapanded to include all of rural Party County becoming, The Giving Tree of Park County. Today we're a 501c3 charitable organization that provides support to our community year-round.

Our vision is to cultivate a compassionate community in Park County where every child and family is supported, cherished, and empowered, fostering a culture of generosity and active engagement that enhances lives and builds a brighter future for all.
Our Mission
The Giving Tree of Park County partners with local schools to provide year-round assistance to children and families in need of love and support, fulfilling wishes, and offering essential items through anonymous community generosity. Our mission is to foster hope, joy and the spirit of giving, while strengthening family bonds, and ensuring every child has a chance to thrive.
